Recently achieved Reiki Master certification! I am also working on a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling student, and I'm looking for opportunities to volunteer. My past has led me to this career field because I can relate, empathize, and help someone going through a mental crisis. I have "been there, done that" in many cases. I am specializing in Trauma and Crisis, and I will eventually move on to get a PhD in Psychology. I have huge plans for the future. I refuse to let anything hold me back. I want to do something worthwhile for my family, friends, and community. 

I love to read and write- as cliche as that sounds, it's true. Since I was very young I enjoyed the comfort of words. I also enjoy photography, technology, and psychology, sprituality, and the supernatural. Writing seems to scratch the itch of my curious-by-nature-type because I enjoy broad and varied topics.

I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis when I was 33 years-old, and the changes in my life since then are both a gift and a curse. I am more understanding of others, but I also have to deal with a good amount of pain. I am also bipolar, so this makes life extra interesting! I have a supportive husband that helps me however he can, and I'm grateful to have family members that help me.

When I'm unable to get out of bed some days, the only thing I have to keep me company are my blogs, hubs, and social media accounts. I enjoy chatting about just about anything.
